Brass & Bone is largely inspired by and should be workable with MÖRK BORG and its many supplements and progeny, but is not immediately compatible without understanding a few key differences.

Chiefly, this game utilizes only dice permutations which are possible with one or more six-sided die, d6, where MÖRK BORG uses d20 as its primary die and a variety of other dice for damage and other rolls.

Dice Conversions

• 3d6 is used in lieu of d20 for tests. 

• d2 is simply a d6/3, rounded up

• d3 is simply a d6/2, rounded up. 

• d4 = d6-2 (minimum of 1).

• d8 = d6+2

• d10  = d6+3

• d12 = d6+4

Advantage/Disadvantage

Occasionally Brass and Bone makes reference to Advantage and Disadvantage, explained elsewhere.  If using d20 mechanics, this means rerolling the d20 in a test and taking the better or worse result, respectively.

Using d66

d66 is occasionally referenced, being two d6s rolled at once, with the value of one die being the ones digit and the other the tens digit, with 36 possible results between 11 and 66.

Movement

MÖRK BORG does not contemplate particular rules for movement.  Brass and Bone does, for an ordinary humanoid calling for movement of d6+Agility squares, or paces, per turn.

Enemies

Enemies share the same stats and basic stat anatomy with core MÖRK BORG.   Enemies taken directly from MÖRK BORG or its progeny will be missing certain information that helps automate solo/gmless play, but should be easily adapted using, if nothing else, the basic AI procedures found later in this text.
